Tennis Court Floodlighting
Permanent / Static
We can provide a number of floodlighting systems depending on the level of lighting required, court configuration and individual requirements. Diagrams showing illumination levels and light spillage can be provided to assist with obtaining the necessary Planning Consent.
Retractable
The system comprises of 150W metal halide lamps fixed to retractable poles which sit just above the court fencing and extend to 5m high when in use.
This is a simple, cost effective way to provide illumination sufficient to allow extended play into the evening. It is primarily designed for domestic courts, playing to a recreational standard. It is not intended for play where higher standards of illumination will be necessary. Planning permission is usually required for retractable floodlighting.
Available as "supply only" or "supply and install".
Groundworks for Future Floodlighting
Ducting, duct boxes and column sockets can all be installed in conjunction with new court construction or existing court refurbishment to make provision for future floodlighting without the need to disturb the new playing surface at a later date.
